New wheels – Stitch Gulf 18×9, 18×10

Finally! After waiting around a month, the 4th wheel showed up from Okinawa! These wheels are for my S13, to replace my old school SSR meshies. I got an awesome deal on these used wheels, mainly because of the corrosion that I’ll need to deal with. I haven’t decided whether to strip and rechrome the centers, or strip and powdercoat them black. Pics!

Specs:

Front 18×9 -7mm 5×114.3 Stitch Gulf

Rear 18×10 -6mm 5×114.3 Stitch Gulf

Guess I need to pick up some tires. Won’t know tire sizing until I chuck the wheels up to check out clearance. From looking at other ride with similar size wheels, I’m guessing I’ll need a 215/40 on the 9s and a 225/40 on the 10s to clear my stock body with some stupid camber. If I can’t make it fit decently I’ll be forced to do the wide body I’ve been putting off forever. Still need to install my Q45 front calipers, rotors, S14 LCA’s — and — pick up some S14 spindles!

New wheels for my S13

After 3+ years rocking 16×8 SSR Reverse Mesh +26mm 4 lug wheels on my s13 I’ve finally decided to upgrade. This coming at a time that my motor swap is ending, body kit going on, brake upgrade and a few other suspension changes seemed like a good time to upgrade the rolling stock as well.

Straight from Okinawa, Japan are my used Stitch Gulf wheels. Sizing 18×9 -7mm (front) and 18×10 -6mm (rear). The centers need to be rechromed (or powdercoated), but the lips are pretty decent. I’m still waiting on the last 9″ wheel to show up, hopefully it comes in next week.

Here’s some photos:
